1st Level Engineer/ IT Support (m/f/d) with focus on network
Your tasks
- Together with the Global Service Desk team, you will support the management services of our customers in the B2B environment.
- Your main task will be to troubleshoot and rectify performance problems in SD-WAN networks (Cisco or Forti-based) and provide support in rectifying line failures.
- This also includes the acceptance of pre-qualified incidents and tickets, further analysis and troubleshooting as well as the ongoing development of solutions and customer-oriented workarounds.
- Within the framework of established ITIL processes, you will provide support in the implementation of changes, service requests and problem management.
- For you, professional and friendly contact with international customers and partners is a matter of course.
- We are there for our customers 24/7. You should therefore be willing to work shifts. Duty rosters are drawn up in consultation, you can work 40% of your working hours from your home office after training and of course receive tax-free shift allowances. Night shifts are currently not a must!
Your profile
- Ideally, you have successfully completed an apprenticeship as an IT specialist or a comparable apprenticeship and/or have (started) a relevant degree.
- You have initial experience in the area of CISCO-based networks and/or in the area of IT security with Fortinet.
- You are characterized by your pronounced customer and service orientation, your binding and independent way of working as well as your analytical thinking and your very good coordination skills.
- You are a real team player, enjoy working together to achieve success and contribute your own ideas.
- Your written and verbal skills in German and English will be convincing.
